Tax money should be coming in this week and after bills are paid I could reasonably go offer this guy $1500 and settle on $1800. Of course I would have to spend another $2g just to get it on the road and ready for paint, but still. It’s cheap and it runs.

Needs some work, but it’s too cool not to save.

If it’s just “beach rust,” then it shouldn’t be more than body panels and maybe some floor pans. Even so, I need to learn how to weld. And I won’t be in school this summer.

I like my Cougar, it is slowly becoming a labor of love. There are indeed times I wish I would’ve bought the rust free ‘69 Mustang that was in competition with the Cougarwhen I bought it. It was, however, twice the price. That said, I’m now up to the cost of that Mustang and that will obviously keep climbing. Cougar downside? Take Mustang parts costs and multiply them by three for the Cougar. Cougar upside, well they’re cool and they are definitely not very common. I’d love to build a 69-70 Eliminator.

Probably said it before but your style cougar is the best cougar and I would take it over any mustang ever made.
